Transcript:
Muffin top? Inside the waistband carry, especially appendix is not gonna go together. I'm just telling you, it's a lifestyle, guys, and it is on you. I really wanna carry the concealed carry appendix. That's what I wanna do. You guys need to make a holster. No. No. You guys need to go...you need to go out there and get in shape maybe. Guys, thank you for joining "The Bravo Audio Show." My name is Rene Aguirre. I'm the owner of Bravo Concealment, and I'm pointing to everyone out there on YouTube land. Thank you so much, guys, for your time. You, guys, again, I sound like a broken record, but I have to say this, you guys are killing it on our podcast. "The Bravo Audio Show" is a success and it's because of you guys. You guys are asking for it. You guys are sending us questions. You guys love it, and I thank you for it, guys. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
Today, I wanna talk about inside the waistband carry, appendix inside the waistband carry, and appendix inside the waistband carry on big guys, on larger guys. One of the biggest questions that I get by far is, or maybe not even a question but a statement, is, well, I'm a big guy. I can't appendix carry. And to me, it's, like, okay, there's so much…there are so many factors involved. Number one, the biggest factor that I see is that guys think that they're a 32, 34-inch waist when in reality, they are a 40-inch waist. Guys, muffin tops and inside the waistband carry do not go together. You need to be true to yourself. You need to be real with yourself and realize that you're not a 32, 34-inch waist. You're a 36, 38, or 40-inch waist. Go out there and buy the right size pants, guys. I'm telling you, muffin top inside the waistband carry especially appendix is not gonna go together. That's not gonna work. That's not gonna happen, and that's why a lot of people can't conceal carry. Be true to yourself. Big guys out there, know that you're a big guy and know that you're a 40-inch waist. There's nothing wrong with that. Know that you're a 42-inch waist. There is nothing wrong with that, guys. But you'll never be able to go inside the waistband with the wrong size pants. I'm telling you right now. You'll never be able to go inside the waistband with a muffin top. I'm telling you right now. That's just the way it is.
Now, there's guys out there that obviously they have a belly that hangs over in the front. You may not be able to conceal carry. I get that, but you can still go inside the waistband at the strong side, three, four, or five o'clock position. You still can do that. You just need to find the right size pants. All right? A lot of people, again, and they're conclusive in their thoughts, and they've probably never even tried it, especially with one of our holsters and say, "Well, I just can't. There's no way. My DNA, the way I am, I'm big boned." Whatever it is you wanna say, right? But you've never tried it the right way because you're wearing pants three sizes way too small for you.
So the first step is go out there and get the right size pant. That's the first step and don't say that you can't conceal carry. You guys obviously aren't following us. Our newsletter, we have Abner Miranda. He's a contributing editor. This guy is a big guy. I'm 6'2". I tower over people. This guy towers over me big time. He's like 6'4" or something, and he's a big guy. If you watch his videos, he conceals carry. He appendix carries a light-bearing gun holster, a light-bearing gun. He conceals carry appendix that with no issues at all.
Now, let me just say this. Abner is all about the lifestyle. He's all about the conceal carry lifestyle. He has a YouTube channel called "Tier 1 Citizen." That's tier, the number 1, citizen. Go check it out or if not, just go to our website and go to our blog page and you'll see him. Abner Miranda. This guy is all about the lifestyle, and so you're gonna see that he wears the right pants, he wears the right shirt, and he understands that, and he understands how important that is. He's just a conceal carry guy, and he even trains...he goes out and trains the way he dresses on a daily basis. I mean, this guy is a number one, 100%. Go check him out. If anybody is gonna talk to you about conceal carrying and being a big guy, it's gonna be him. Go check it out. He's got a bunch of videos on that.
But, guys, be real. Be true to yourselves. Go out there and make sure you got the right size pant, and that's the first step. And then there's gonna be the second step, is inside the waistband conceal carrying for you, appendix carry for you. I know a lot of people have said this before and I know a lot of people that can't even carry a cellphone in their front pocket much less a gun holster inside their pants. So it may not be for you but you will not know unless you try and you try the right way. And the biggest…the first strike people get is just their pant size. It's either they're way too small, or they're not big enough. Sometimes you may have to go a pant size bigger if you want to go inside the waistband. We're stuck on a 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 inch, 42-inch waist where the intervals are 2 inches, so you may have to go a pant size bigger. But that's what it takes to conceal carry, guys. I've said this before. It's a lifestyle. It's a sacrifice. It's a commitment. You have to give up something, guys. You have to.
There's way too many people out there that are just way too lazy to try to fix a problem or a situation. Nah, forget it. I don't care. Or you just wanna look cool. Well, you know, I like…you know, I work out and, you know, I wanna wear the tight shirt and all that. Fine. That's great. You're never gonna be able to conceal carry. You're wearing a shirt two sizes too small. You're not gonna be able to conceal carry, guys. I don't know what else to say. I mean, you can see your belt buckle, so you think a gun's not gonna print? I mean, not even a Bravo Concealment holster is that good. You need to dress around conceal carrying. You have to and if you want to look cool and you want to look hip, go out there and do it. But if something goes down, nobody is gonna care if you're looking cool or if you're looking hip. The people around you aren't gonna care. Your family is not gonna care. They're gonna wish that you didn't care either so that you could be conceal carrying but no, you wanna look cool. You wanna look hip. That's fine. I'm just telling you, it's a lifestyle, guys, and it is on you.
Whoa, but, you know, I wanna look cool, and I work out. Okay. And, you're not gonna conceal carry. Yeah, but...but... No. There's no but, man. You gotta own up to these things. You have to own up to these things. A lot of people don't conceal carry because, well, I just can't look cool, man. I always have to wear a shirt that's a little bit, you know, on the bigger... Guys, and you don't even have to go... Just wear the right shirt, man. You don't have to go double X or three XL on a shirt because you're conceal carrying and you weigh a 180 pounds. No, you don't. Just wear the right shirt. But you can't go with a skin-tight fitted t-shirt polo and conceal carry. Some of you guys can pull it off and my hats off to you especially if you're thin and all that and, you know, you can hang your shirt a little in the front. You can appendix carry. Some of you guys can do it. Great. Do it. Go out there. You may even print a little. That's it. If there's nothing wrong with printing, that's gonna be on you or just open carry, right? You wanna look cool, open carry.
A lot of you guys do it to yourself. Nobody else is doing it to you. Well, you know, I just have a belly. Then work out, man. I mean, it's a lifestyle, guys. It is a lifestyle. Stop eating the McDonald's and all the cokes and the fries and fried chicken and all that and do something about it, or don't and you can't conceal carry, or you're gonna have to conceal carry in another way. I really want to carry a conceal carry appendix. That's what I wanna do. You guys need to make a holster. No. No. You guys need to go...you need to go out there and get in shape maybe. Buy the right size pant. Stop muffin topping and go out there and run a couple of laps. That's it. It's on you, guys. It's on nobody else but on you.
