One of the reasons why most people refuse carrying a concealed weapon is HEAT! I get it. I live in South Texas where the heat and humidity gets unbearable. Even though this can be an issue with many, I keep carrying a handgun. I will be the first one to say that my carry firearm does change from winter to summer. There is no “layering” in the summertime. You may need to find a better way to carry but you can. I talk about this in the video. Enjoy.
Rene Aguirre is the founder and owner of Bravo Concealment. Rene has been carrying concealed on a daily basis for over 8 years and has been a CHL (concealed handgun license) holder for more than 20 years. Finding a high interest in firearms for many years, Rene started Bravo because of the “lack of” a good concealed carry holster on the market.

The problem I have with CCW in the summer time is that with only a T-shirt the firearm and Kydex against the skin IWB is not comfortable. I bought some tank top underwear to wear under my T-shirts and they work ok for up to mildly warm weather but too hot for high temps. Have you ever experimented with bonding a synthetic material such as Alcantara to the back side of a holster? I have a leather IWA holster that is great for behind the hip but I recently like appendix carry better.
