Battlefield Pickup - Running Someone Else's Weapon

I ran this drill at Tactical Defense Institute in Ohio (tdiohio.com). The class was Handgun IV-V and was a four day pistol intensive where a lot of what you didn't know you didn't know gets covered. Handgun is one of the hardest disciplines to become proficient in which is why we have to spend so much time on it. In this drill we have all placed our handguns and spare mags on the ground and have all shifted over one position. Whatever weapon is in front of you is what you are required to run this very demanding drill with. I ended up with a Smith & Wesson M&P with an RMR on it. It fit well enough to work in my Bravo Concealment DOS holster. I was able to tuck the extra mags into my modified back pockets on my jeans. I have sewed up that back pockets on my jeans straight up the middle. It turns them into mag holders that support the magazine and keep it retained in a straight up and down position. I had never fired an M&P in my life until this day so all things considered the run wasn't too shabby.
