Being Clark Kent

"Being Clark Kent not Superman" is an analogy that I've given people for years about the mindset they need to espouse to be a great T1C. Being able to walk into a room and instantly be forgotten by everyone is a truly great place to be. Clark Kent is about your attire, your vehicle, your demeanor, your speech patterns, your affiliations, how you stand, and how you watch those around you. To be a great T1C is to truly personify Clark Kent. Clark and Superman are the same guy, the same powers, and abilities rest in each persona, but the outward appearance is what is most important. Be Clark Kent not Superman and you will be able to hide in plain sight even when the enemy is looking for who they need to take out first in a room. The first and last thing the bad guys should see about you, and from you, is your muzzle flash...

  • Great video !! When I first got into conceal carry I was a complete moron. Gun tee shirts, gun hats, gun stickers on the back of the car. I thought it was cool. Then I started watching videos by instructors like Abner. And I learned that with gun stickers all over your vehicle all sorts of bad can happen. Thieves target your vehicle for your guns. Road rage idiots call in your tag and tell police you pointed a gun at them. Now I have no stickers, don’t wear gun clothing except for the non obvious. Great video from Abner.
